Meta has announced that users will be able to upload NFTs to Instagram and Facebook. With the release of digital collectibles on Facebook and Instagram, people can now share their digital treasures. People can exchange digital valuables across both apps by linking their digital wallets once.
The business has been testing NFTs since May. Instagram started testing NFTs with selected creators in March 2022, following Mark Zuckerberg’s announcement that NFTs would be coming soon. A month later, Zuckerberg said that NFTs would be available on Facebook as well as Instagram in June 2022. NFT support for Instagram was finally launched in 100 countries in July.

What New Changes Are Coming to the Platform?
A custom animation is also being developed for NFT posts and digital collectible collections. In a statement earlier this year, Zuckerberg said that Meta would add NFTs to Instagram Stories and Spark AR.
By offering tools that enable users to upload their digital treasures, Meta hopes to reach a larger audience. As a result, more crypto-native artists will be able to showcase their digital art on all major blockchains and wallets. For crypto-curious individuals who want to learn more about NFT, posts about it will now appear in their feeds.
Prior to Instagram’s support for NFT, artists used the platform to upload their work. In order to support creators in the long term, the corporation has created a creator support strategy.
