Bittensor leads LunarCrush AI project social activity ranking

Bittensor Dominates AI Project Social Rankings

LunarCrush has released its latest analysis of artificial intelligence projects based on social media activity, and the results show Bittensor ($TAO) leading by a significant margin. The platform tracks three key metrics: posts, interactions, and social dominance to measure how much attention these projects are getting online.

Bittensor recorded 10,900 posts with 923,000 interactions, giving it a social dominance of 0.80%. That’s quite a bit higher than the second-place project, Fetch ($FET), which had 2,670 posts and 151,000 interactions with 0.25% dominance. The gap between these top two projects is substantial, suggesting Bittensor is capturing much more attention in the current market.

Render and Holo Show Interesting Patterns

What’s interesting about the third and fourth positions is how similar post counts led to very different interaction levels. Render ($RENDER) had 2,350 posts with 138,000 interactions, while Holoworld AI ($HOLO) had 1,850 posts but nearly double the interactions at 309,000. Both ended up with similar social dominance percentages though – 0.25% for Render and 0.20% for Holo.

This makes me wonder if the quality or type of content differs between these projects. Perhaps Holo’s posts generate more discussion or engagement, even though they have fewer overall posts. It’s not just about quantity, but what kind of conversations these projects are sparking.

Mid-Tier Projects Show Steady Engagement

PAAL AI ($PAAL) and ChainGPT ($CGPT) both maintained posts in the thousands range. PAAL had 1,570 posts with 123,000 interactions and 0.20% dominance, while ChainGPT recorded 1,140 posts with 100,000 interactions and 0.15% dominance. These numbers suggest consistent, steady engagement rather than explosive growth.

Looking at LimeWire ($LMWR) and QUBIC ($QUBIC), they were quite close in post counts – 845 versus 802 respectively. But the interaction numbers told a different story: LimeWire generated 197,000 interactions compared to QUBIC’s 108,000. Both had 0.10% social dominance, but the engagement per post appears higher for LimeWire.

Lower Ranking Projects Still Show Activity

Even the projects at the bottom of the list, Virtuals ($VIRTUAL) and AITECH ($AITECH), showed meaningful activity. Virtuals had 723 posts with 82,700 interactions and 0.10% dominance, while AITECH recorded 675 posts with 197,000 interactions and 0.05% dominance.

What’s notable here is that AITECH actually had higher interactions than several projects above it, despite having fewer posts. This pattern keeps appearing throughout the rankings – post count doesn’t always correlate directly with engagement levels.

Social activity metrics like these can be useful indicators of community interest, but they’re just one piece of the puzzle. High social engagement doesn’t necessarily translate to project success or token value. Still, it’s interesting to see which AI projects are capturing attention and generating discussion in the crypto space right now.
