Token Generation Event Scheduled
Acurast Association has officially announced its Token Generation Event will take place on November 17, 2025. This marks a significant step toward the project’s mainnet launch, which aims to bring decentralized confidential computing to broader adoption.
The timing comes after extensive coordination with exchanges and ecosystem partners. Alessandro De Carli, Co-Founder of Acurast, mentioned they’ve been preparing carefully for this moment. “We only have one chance to launch,” he said, “and we’re dedicated to making sure it’s extraordinary.”
Network Performance and Growth
Since its canary network launched, Acurast has shown substantial traction. The platform has onboarded over 137,500 phones and generated 447 million on-chain transactions within the Polkadot ecosystem. These devices have powered more than 41,000 deployments across various live use cases.
This performance demonstrates the network’s capability to deliver scalable decentralized computing. The numbers suggest there’s genuine demand for this type of confidential compute solution.
Technical Foundation and Integration
As a rollup on Polkadot, Acurast benefits from shared security while maintaining interoperability with the broader multichain ecosystem. The Polkadot SDK provides the technical foundation for Acurast’s decentralized confidential compute capabilities.
This modular approach allows Acurast to extend its compute services beyond a single blockchain. Developers and users can potentially access decentralized computing from any connected chain, which could be quite useful for cross-chain applications.
Upcoming Developments
In preparation for the TGE and mainnet launch, Acurast has several key milestones planned. The team is developing the cACU-to-ACU conversion mechanism and preparing for an upcoming airdrop called “Cloud Rebellion” that will distribute 10 million ACU tokens.
They’re also working on DEX and CEX listings to make the ACU token more accessible worldwide. The association emphasizes that this launch represents more than just a token event—it’s the culmination of years of research, community building, and real-world deployment testing.
De Carli added that with growing demand for decentralized compute, ACU represents progress in aligning infrastructure with community values. The project seems positioned to address what could be an important need in the Web3 space, though only time will tell how it performs once fully launched.
