Twitter, a social media site, has partnered with four markets to facilitate users’ direct purchase, sale, and display of NFTs through tweets. NFT Tweet Tiles is an integration that places a tile of an NFT’s artwork in a tweet and provides a button that leads to the listing on a marketplace.
The integration is still in testing, but it already supports four different marketplaces: Magic Eden, a platform focused on Solana; Rarible, a protocol for creating NFT marketplaces across multiple platforms; Dapper Labs, the company behind the Flow blockchain; and Jump.trade, a platform focused on sports trading.
These marketplaces collectively cover a wide range of blockchain protocols like Immutable X, Polygon, Ethereum, Tezos, Solana, and Flow. While Twitter Blue, Twitter’s paid membership service, has enabled NFTs as verified profile images since January but presently, only Ethereum NFTs are accepted.
