Neo made its presence felt at the Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai, taking up a booth in the main exhibition hall where community members from Neo Global Development, AxLabs, and Neo News Today were present. They actively engaged in discussions about Neo N3 and Neo X, offering insight into their latest developments. Neo also co-sponsored a KOL reception, enabling them to connect with influencers within the international crypto community.
In their ongoing effort to foster innovation and empower talent, Neo launched the Neo X Grind Hackathon main event. With support from IOSG Kickstarter, Web3Labs, Foresight Ventures, and Bitget, the hackathon boasts over US $22 million in prizes and grants. The event is aimed at finding and encouraging gifted developers to create innovative projects on Neo X, Neo’s EVM-compatible sidechain.
Recently, Neo fell victim to a malicious attack on the X/Twitter account. A suspicious third-party app was exploited to gain access to the official Neo Blockchain account, enabling the culprit to send posts and direct messages from the account. Due to a flaw in X/Twitter’s system, the Neo team was unable to immediately revoke the permissions. However, the issue has since been resolved.
Looking ahead, Neo is set to be a partner at Thailand Blockchain Week, scheduled to take place at the EMSPHERE shopping center in the UOB Live event venue on Nov. 9 and 10 in Bangkok. This two-day event is part of a series expected to unfold before and after Ethereum DevCon.
Meanwhile, Flamingo Finance disclosed new information about the upcoming release of FLOCKS, including details on FLUND migration and exit fee removal. Current FLUND holders will be the only ones allowed to enter FLOCKS before the start of Epoch 1. This early entry will be available for about a week and will ensure that investors receive a 1:1 ratio of FLM (from FLUND) to FLOCKS.
