Dubai Art Fair Will Showcase the Future of Digital Artwork and NFTs

Non-fungible tokens and other cutting-edge artwork will be on display at the Dubai Art Fair, which begins this week in the United Arab Emirates (NFT). Non-fungible tokens will be included for the first time at Art Dubai from March 11th to March 13th, 2022, which is the world’s largest international art exhibition in the Middle East.

The Art Dubai Digital area will make its debut at this year’s show, and it will investigate the growth of NFTs, cryptocurrency, video art, and virtual reality since the initial appearance of digital art in the 1980s, according to the organizers.

Chris Fussner, a cultural researcher who lives in New York, will be in charge of the Art Dubai Digital section. Artists from North Africa and the Middle East will be showcased at an online gallery called Emergeast that charges between 0.8ETH and 10ETH for their work. CarpETHereum, a work by Mazyar Kamkar and Reza Vojdani that depicts an Ethereum symbol covered in a Persian carpet and represents the emergence of Web 3.0 in the Middle East, will be one of the most notable exhibition pieces.

Orkhan Mammadov’s work will also be featured on Gazelli Art House’s digital branch, GAZELL.iO. Rug patterns from the Middle East are used as the basis for the Singularity in Heritage series. There will be 333 NFTs selling for between three and six-figure prices.

With the help of 12 artists, Campus Art Dubai showcases NFTs at this year’s Art Dubai. An international conference on digital artifacts and cryptocurrencies is to be held at the Global Art Forum in New York City. There have been several seminars sponsored by the Bybit cryptocurrency exchange about cryptography, digital media, and NFT art.
